Why Am I Engaging with These Topics?
In the year 2023, I had the opportunity to delve deeper into a topic that had intrigued me for a while through a school project called the Personal Project (PP). Specifically, I decided to combine two things that interested me: the medical field/healthcare and feminism and women’s rights. I thought it would be perfect to use this opportunity to raise awareness about women’s healthcare worldwide. Personally, I chose these two topics because, as a woman, I believe that the most important thing is to care for, pay attention to, and support other women. On the other hand, for the second topic that I decided to link with feminism, I chose healthcare because I aspire to enter the medical field one day and thought, since you’re helping people in general, why not make it a bit more specific and focus on whom we need to assist.
For these reasons, I have taken it upon myself to use this platform to inform women about their rights, options, and discuss fundamental issues that concern women, shedding light on specific topics affecting them.
I am excited about the new adventure that begins with this platform and hope that all readers are as enthusiastic about it as I am.
